Saturday Spotlight: Tara (Adrian) Laws, Class of 1989 🎓
From MHS to Business Leadership
Tara always knew she wanted to be “the boss.” After graduating from MHS, she set out to study business at Kansas State University before transferring to the University of Kansas, where she earned a degree in Business Management.
That determination paid off—today, Tara is the Human Resource Manager for a manufacturing company in Kansas City, helping lead teams and build strong company culture.
Life, Family, and Career Balance
Tara isn’t just a leader in the business world—she’s also a wife and mother. She is married to Scott Laws (MHS Class of 1988), and together they’ve raised two daughters.
Her days are filled with balancing work, family, and making an impact in her career—a true reflection of her strong ambition and drive.

📺 Defining High School Experience: Going to the Astro, football games, basketball games, and dragging Main!
📅 Day She’d Relive: Winter Formal, Senior Year—a special time filled with laughter, friends, and unforgettable moments.
